It has been a long time since I have updated my Xanga!!!  I have a few minutes right now so I thought- "what the heck, I don't want to do any more work today"

Since last entry I have been working hard and playing harder.  We had the state ag teachers meeting in Garden City at the end of January.  It was a really good conference and I got to spend some "quality" time with my ag teaching buddies.  I also won the Ideas Unlimited for the state and will represent Kansas at the regional level.  If I can win the region I will be able to attend the National Ag Teachers conference in Atlanta.  After knowing how much fun those are I really want to win.

After getting back from conference I got a phone call from this cute guy I had seen working at the high school during an inservice day a couple of weeks before.  After sending out some spies I found out who he was and they gave him my number.  That was 4 weeks ago and we are still dating!  He is a really great guy that makes me laugh and I really like spending time with him- and those of you that really know me know that I am kinda hard to please.  So we will see how the relationship progresses over time.  He has met Sheridan and likes her and I think she likes him so I guess things are going well.

This week was National FFA Week and we have been going full speed at school with activities.  Tomorrow is the last day and I can't say that I am sorry.  This is one week that I am glad only comes one time a year.

Well, Hopefully you have enjoyed getting a small update of the happenings of my life.  I will try to update more frequently, but don't hold me to it.

Had teacher inservice today.  It is harder and goes by slower than a normal school day!  Tonight I am going to the high school boys basketball game in Hope.  We play Wakefield who we barely beat on Tuesday.  If we don't win tonight I am going to be a little ticked off.

I went to Manhattan on Saturday and saw Tristan and Isolde.  It was a lot better than I thought it would be!  It was made better by the fact that K-State kicked KUs ass in basketball at Lawrence!!!!!  What a great victory to rub in the face of some of my family members.Went out that night with Sheridan and a few of her friends.  Ended up at Leah's house and it was a great time(I know you will read this, Leah).

Sheridan came down last night to do her laundry, but I had to get up and go to school this morning.  I am sure that Bailey enjoyed her being there.

Some Pics from Christmas (I am giving it a try)

Not much excitement in my life.  I should be used to that by now!  I have had a cold that last few days, but I feel a lot better today.

I went to Manhattan last night for a doctor visit that took 15 minutes.  I spent the rest of the time shopping, went to eat with Sheridan, then drove home.

I have a ton of things that I should be working on right now and this weekend, but I think I am going to just skip it and go to Manhattan to see Tristan and Isolde then out partying with Sheridan (I hope).

There is a big basketball game tonight versus Wakefield.  I am going to go home, change, eat, then come back because there is nothing else for a 25 single woman to do on a Tuesday night.  If I don't get a little loving soon I might get to desperate and do something really stupid.

I better get back to my class.  I can only trust them for a little while.

It has been a while since I have written.  I got a small break from school, but they are never long enough.  Spent time at home with Courtney and Megan.  I saw King Kong and Narnia and both were awesome movies!  I also finished the book that I was reading.

Spent New Years in Manhattan with some college buddies.  It was awesome and I behaved myself (mostly).

After returning to school I have been busy playing catch up and working on lessons.  I have some big things coming up this summer that I am trying to get prepared for.  I am working gate at the basketball games a lot and that helps me to get some work done when I am sitting there for a couple of hours.

I am going to rest this weekend and try to finish cleaning up my house.  Especially if I really do have to move this year.  I am taking Bailey to the vet on Saturday to find out why she is limping.

I am sorry, but I don't have the time or energy to write a huge entry!  Hopefully I will be better about writing more often.

Only a couple more days until I have a small break to recoup and get ready for another busy spring.

Last weekend I went to Wichita to the Cross Canadian Ragweed concert with several of my college buddies.  It was a blast and I was totally sober (unlike my little sis). Saturday I spent the day looking for a bridesmaid dress for Cassy's wedding.  We found one at David's Bridal and it is such a relief to not have to worry about that now.  I went to Old Town that night with Cassy, Debi, Jacob, Katie, and Kim- it was a blast and I did get a little tipsy!  Sunday I got up, went to Wal-Mart, then drove home.  That night we had an officer get-together at Mr. Granzow's house.

Monday morning started off like every other Monday until about 10:30 when Courtney walked in the door.  It was a total surprise!!!  She didn't tell me she was coming and it was awesome to see her.  She and I went to Manhattan that evening to do a little last minute shopping and out to dinner with one of her friends.  She stayed until this morning.

I am ready for school to be done so I can have a chance to see all the movies that are out right now; King Kong, Narnia, and Family Stone are just a few that I want to see.

Well, I need to get back to grading record books and papers so I can get all my grades entered.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!1
